Produced by ALPACAMEDIA & OHLONE COLLEGE
Project Description

on other cultures, from the basic definition of concepts as culture, to
the History of California to Culturally
Sensitive Situations in the Health Care environment; the project is suitable
for both students and professionals
wishing to review current multicultural understandings at the work place.
Each chapter is followed by a set of interactive questions allowing self-directed
assesment.
The CD-ROM content has been prepared by a team of artists, health care professionals,
programmers and
experts under a grant awarded to Ohlone College.
Although the LATINOS IN CALIFORNIA project utilizes leading-edge multimedia
technology, the interface
has been designed for ease of use and requires no previous computer experience.
Multicultural education has never been more important, this guide is an
effective way for the audience to start
questioning insensitive behaviors to other cultures and undertake continuing
personal growth.
